Alma is a Taiwanese photographer with a great sense of beauty and outstanding compositions. Her enacted images are thoughtful and meditative scenes that make us imagine and wonder about the people and stories depicted. Following we present the interview we had with Alma: am - First of all thank you very much for your contribution to our project. Can you please introduce yourself for us? AL - My name is Alma Lo and I come from Taiwan. I own a coffee shop in Taipei, Taiwan. am - What inspires your work? AL - Usually creativity increases through the process of working with my partners. We can give to each other more creative thinking and my work is often inspired by this. am - Who are your favourite photographers / artists? AL - My favourite photographer is Simon Chang born in Taiwan but now based in Europe. am - How would you describe your photographs in 3 words? AL - It’s difficult to describe my photographs in 3 words cause each work presents different feelings. am - What are 5 things you could absolutely not live without? AL - Cats, photographing, music, reading and traveling. am - If you could travel and stay in a place for one year, where would you choose to go? AL- I would choose a place where I can see the mountains and the sea. am - What does photography mean to you? Photography makes my life full of fun. am - What’s your favourite movie?
