Anna is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her images, mainly Polaroids, are inspiring scenes which invite the viewer to reflect about their own existence and beauty itself.
Looking at her work it is inevitable to think about Francesca Woodman’s black and white pictures featuring herself and other female models. In Anna’s case her self portraiture work stems from intimacy, showing her feelings at that precise moment and capturing them as real as possible. “It is a feeling that you want to capture because it is something beautiful and memorable.”
For Anna her work is a diary of a life in a visual sense of who she is as an artist.
