Francesc is a young Spanish artist currently studying Audiovisual Communications. His simple and ironic images are certainly the result of an open and joyful spirit that tells us that photography can be fun and aesthetically pleasant at the same time.

 
 
 

First of all thank you very much for your contribution to our project. Can you please introduce yourself for us?

I’m from a little town in Valencia, Spain. Currently I’m in 3d year of Audiovisual Communication but I’m looking forward to finish asap and see the world.

How did you start in photography?

I started two years ago. I finished high school and wanted to do something artistic. I started this degree (Audiovisual Communication) and found a way to express myself with photography.

What inspires your work?

How would you describe your visual language?

Raw, Crude.

Who are your favourite photographers / artists?

Ren Hang, Araki, Dalí lol.

What are 5 things you could absolutely not live without?

Family, Friends, Music, Photography (lol).

If you could travel and stay in a place for one year, where would you choose to go?

I would like to go to the United States but a year would be a lot. Probably Algeria, I’m in love with this country.

Favourite songs / bands at the moment?

Senior I El Cor Brutal, Lil Boat.

What’s your favourite movie?

‘Jodaeiye Nader az Simin’ (A Separation) is a cool one, also ‘Magical Girl’ (Spanish one).

What are you reading at the moment?

‘Palo Alto’ by James Franco.

Gin, vodka or tequila?

Hahha I don’t use to drink.

Do you have any project in mind that could be a personal or professional challenge?

Yes! I’m doing a project about photographing music artists I like. It’s named Rare Shots at the moment. I’ve portrayed artists like Rich Homie Quan or the Spanish trap group Pxxr Gvng. Also I have the project about Algeria in process.
